Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ protests in Bihar, posters torched

Protest against ‘Pathan’ in Bihar

News agency ANI has shared a latest video on its official Twitter handle on January 25 morning. It can be clearly seen in this video that some people are tearing the poster of Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’. After that those critics have set fire to this poster. Actually this video is being told of a cinema hall in Bhagalpur, Bihar, where Shah Rukh’s film ‘Pathan’ has been strongly opposed. This video is of January 24.

In such a way, on the day of the release of ‘Pathan’, the protest against the film in this way has become a topic of discussion. On the other hand, due to the bumper advance booking of ‘Pathan’, King Khan fans are queuing up at 6 am to watch ‘Pathan’ in theaters across the country. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether after Bihar, the news of protest against ‘Pathan’ comes from any other corner of the country or not.

‘Pathan’ protests in Agra too

Shahrukh Khan’s new film ‘Pathan’ Opposition has been seen. Where activists of the right-wing organization Hindu Mahasabha threw ink on the posters of the film in Agra on Tuesday and tore them. Sanjay Jat, leader of the Hindu Mahasabha, said that the organization is called ‘Pathan’ at any cost. While the film will not be allowed to be screened, Bajrang Dal’s state co-coordinator Digdivijay Nath Tiwari said that he and his organization’s workers also oppose the film. Police said activists of a right-wing outfit today reached several cinema halls and threw ink on film posters and tore them. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and removed them from there after convincing them.

Why is there protest against ‘Pathan’

Actually, the film ‘Pathan’ is being opposed a lot regarding its title. Many people believe that the title of ‘Pathan’ hurts religious sentiments. On the other hand, there has been a lot of controversy regarding the song ‘Besharam Rang’ by ‘Pathan’ actress Deepika Padukone.  Many critics say that obscenity has been promoted in this song.
