Rahul Gandhi’s security is our top priority, we will do whatever the agencies say – Jairam Ramesh

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said in Samba that there will be no compromise on the issue of security of Rahul Gandhi who is traveling in India Jodo in Jammu and Kashmir. This is our top priority. We will follow whatever the security agencies say.

Adequate security arrangements for Rahul Gandhi

According to reports, Rahul Gandhi crossed the Londi check point at 8 am today carrying the tricolor along with J&K Pradesh Congress chief Vikar Rasool Wani, working president Raman Bhalla and thousands of workers. And, in this way the yatra proceeded through Tapyal-Gagwal in Samba district. State police, CRPF and other security agencies are keeping a close watch on the yatra. Officials say adequate security arrangements have been made for Rahul Gandhi.

25 km journey today

According to sources associated with the Congress, today after covering a distance of 25 kilometers, his march will reach Chak Nanak, where he will rest at night. After that, on Monday, the yatra from Vijaypur in Samba will again leave for Jammu. However, news also came in the morning that the Jammu-Pathankot highway had to be sealed due to security reasons.
