‘Pathan’ released amid controversies, police sent notice to Bajrang Dal-VHP workers

Pathan Movie: Amidst controversies, Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s film ‘Pathan’ has been released in cinema halls today. People are seeing enthusiasm about the film from the very beginning. ‘King Khan’ is making a comeback on the big screen after a long time. However, this film of his has been in controversies since its inception. 

In Maharashtra and Gujarat, the activists of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad even threatened that they would not allow the film to be released. At the same time, information has come to the fore that Thane Police has given notice to the activists of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, who opposed the film Pathan. Earlier, activists protested by tearing posters of the film at several places in Maharashtra.

Activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal have also warned that if the film ‘Pathan’ is released even after this, it will be opposed by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal. Keeping this in mind, the police has issued a notice.

Protest also in Agra, Uttar Pradesh

Activists of right-wing organization Hindu Mahasabha protesting against Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ in Agra on Tuesday threw ink on the posters of the film and tore them. Hindu Mahasabha leader Sanjay Jat said that the organization will not allow the film ‘Pathan’ to be released at any cost. 

What is the root of the controversy?

Significantly, all this ruckus happened in the film ‘Besharam Rang’. Started with the song. In this song, ‘Pathan’ faced criticism for showing actress Deepika Padukone in a saffron colored bikini. Leaders of several organisations, including the VHP, demanded a ban on the film.
