Nepal PM On India Republic Day: On the occasion of 74th Republic Day, Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal has greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the countrymen. The Twitter handle of the Prime Minister’s Office of Nepal said, “On the occasion of 74th Republic Day of India, I Narendra Modi and extend warm greetings to the Government and friendly people of India.”

Respect done to the soldiers

During the ceremony, the Ambassador of India to Nepal honored the families of soldiers who died in the war by giving 4.60 crore Nepali rupees and blankets to them. Reiterating its commitment to help retired servicemen, the embassy also unveiled a magazine for ex-servicemen living in Nepal. Naveen Srivastava also presented books to many institutions. The Embassy is gifting books worth Rs 16 lakh to 23 institutions on the occasion of India’s 74th Republic Day.
