Many roads in Delhi will remain closed for the full dress rehearsal of the Republic Day parade, know the complete update here

Delhi Route Map : Preparations have been completed for the full dress rehearsal of the Republic Day celebrations. This parade will start from Vijay Chowk at 10.30 am on January 23 and will end at Red Fort via Kartavya Path, C-Hexagon, Statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Netaji Subhash Marg. During this time people have been advised by the Delhi Traffic Police to stay away from the parade route from 9.30 am to 1 pm.

Traffic will be restricted here

Traffic will be restricted on the duty path from Vijay Chowk to India Gate from 6 pm on Sunday till the end of the parade. Traffic will not be allowed on Rafi Marg, Janpath, Man Singh Road from 11 pm on Sunday night till the end of the parade on the duty side.

C-Hexagon-India Gate will remain closed for traffic from 9.15 am on Monday till the parade crosses Tilak Marg. Traffic will not be allowed on Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and Subhash Marg from both the directions from 10.30 am on Monday (January 23). The movement of traffic will be allowed only on the basis of parade movement.

Use these routes

North to South, Ring Road, Ashram Chowk, Sarai Kale Khan, IP Flyover, Raj Ghat, Ring Road, Safdarjung Madrasa to Lodhi Road, Aurobindo Marg, AIIMS Chowk, Ring Road, Dhaula Kuan, Vande Mataram Marg, Shankar Road, Park Street or Temple Road. From East to West, Ring Road, Bhairo Road, Mathura Road, Lodhi Road, Aurobindo Marg, AIIMS Chowk, Ring Road, Dhaula Kuan, Vande Mataram Marg, Shankar Road, Park Street or Mandir Marg. Ring Road, Boulevard Road, Barf Khana Chowk, Rani Jhansi Flyover, Faiz Road, Vande Mataram Marg, Shankar Road. Ring Road, ISBT, Chandgi Ram Akhara, IP College, Mall Road, Azadpur, Punjabi Bagh.

Going to New Delhi Railway Station

South Delhi to Dhaula Kuan, Vande Mataram Marg, Panchkuian Road, Connaught Place Outer Circle, Chelmsford Road. From East Delhi via ISBT Bridge to Boulevard Road, Rani Jhansi Flyover, Jhandewalan, DBG Road, Sheela Cinema Road, Paharganj.

For Old Delhi Station

South Delhi to Old Delhi Railway Station via Ring Road, Ashram Chowk, Sarai Kale Khan, Ring Road, Rajghat, Ring Road, Chowk Yamuna Bazar, SP Mukherjee Marg, Chatta Rail, Kodia Bridge.

Buses will terminate here 

Park Street/Udyan Marg, Aram Bagh Road (Paharganj), Kamla Market, Delhi Secretariat (IG Stadium), Pragati Maidan (Bhairo Road), Hanuman Mandir (Yamuna Bazar), Mori Gate, ISBT Kashmiri Gate, ISBT Sarai Kale Khan, Tis Hazari Court.

Interstate buses will end here

Buses coming from Ghaziabad to Shivaji Stadium will come via NH 24, Ring Road and will terminate at Bhairo Road. Buses coming from NH 24 will take a right turn on Road No. 56 and will be terminated at ISBT Anand Vihar. Buses coming from Ghaziabad side will be diverted towards Bhopura Chungi for Wazirabad bridge at Mohan Nagar. All the buses coming from Dhaula Kuan side will terminate at Dhaula Kuan.

Metro Services 

Metro will not stop at Udyog Bhawan and Central Secretariat stations from 5 am to 12 noon.

No entry of heavy vehicles from the border 

No heavy vehicles will be allowed to enter Delhi from the border from 9 pm on Sunday till the parade ends.

No heavy vehicles will be allowed to ply on Ring Road between ISBT Sarai Kale Khan and ISBT Kashmiri Gate from 7.30 am to 1.30 pm on Monday.
