IND vs NZ: A series of three ODIs was played between India and New Zealand, in which the Indian team whitewashed the visiting team 3-0. Talking after the match, Kiwi captain Tom Latham said, “I think we did not start well in bowling. They had a great opening partnership, but still we pulled back to 380 (385). We were in a good position chasing runs, but we lost a lot of wickets. This is our last experience before the World Cup, so we’ve got an idea. We wanted to create depth and it has been a great experience for all. The more you are in situations like this, the more you learn.”

Indian team becomes number one in ICC ODI rankings

After defeating New Zealand 3-0 in the ODI series, the Indian team has achieved the number one position in the ICC ODI rankings. Indian team has become number one with 114 rating and 5010 points. And the visiting New Zealand team has come at number four with 111 ratings and 3229 points. 

Significantly, before this series, the Indian team was at number four in the ICC ODI rankings. And the New Zealand team was present at number one. Now Team India has whitewashed the Kiwi team completely in this figure and has decorated the number one crown on its head.
