The chef, in an Instagram reel, says that mushrooms have a high water content due to which their shelf life is short. To keep them soft and crunchy, first take an air-tight container and line it using some tissue paper. According to the chef, this will make the mushrooms last longer as the tissue paper gets soaked in water. In the next step, place some tissue paper over the mushrooms, close the container properly and store them in the refrigerator.

The chef says that in this way the shelf life of mushrooms can be extended up to a week. So, now you don’t have to worry about your mushrooms getting spoiled and can easily make some delicious dishes even after a week.
