Indian youth injured by robbers in America dies, friend’s condition critical

A 23-year-old Indian youth, who was shot by armed robbers in Chicago, USA, has died. This information was given in a news that came in the media on Tuesday. Chicago police said on Tuesday morning that Devshish Nandepu was shot by robbers in Princeton Park on the South Side on Sunday night.

In a news report of ‘ABC 7 Eyewitness News’ it was said that Nandepu died due to serious injuries. According to the news, Nandepu died at 4 am on Monday morning at Christ Medic Center in Oak Lawn. He had a bullet injury between the arm and shoulder joint.

Nandepu and his 22-year-old friend were near a parking lot at around 6:55 pm on Sunday when suddenly two robbers alighted from a black car and approached them.

The robbers showed guns to both of them and demanded valuables from them. Officials said that both obeyed the order, yet they were shot.

Nandepu’s friend has been shot in the chest and his condition is serious. At present he is kept in ICU. Till now no one has been arrested in this case.
