India Issued Visa To Pakistan Pilgrims: India has issued visas to 249 Pakistani pilgrims coming from Pakistan at the shrine of Sufi Sant Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer. The official said that the government issued visas to 249 people from Pakistan to visit the shrine of Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer, Rajasthan. 488 applicants applied for visas, but only 249 pilgrims got visas.

The tradition of spreading the flag started in 1928.  
The 811th annual Urs flag of Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti’s tomb in Ajmer was hoisted at the Buland Darwaza on January 18. Offered with Gauri family. Hazrat Syed Abdul Sattar Badshah Jaan started the tradition of spreading the flag in the year 1928. After which Lal Mohammad played this path from 1944 to 1991, then Moinuddin Gauri hoisted the flag till the year 2006. Since then till now this ritual is being performed by the Fakhruddin Gauri family.
