Hindu organizations protest against ‘Pathan’ in Indore, show canceled at 9 am, police deployed on the spot

Pathaan Release: Today Shahrukh Khan’s film Pathan has been released across the country including Indore. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the fans regarding this. However, there has been a massive protest against the film by a Hindu organization in front of Sapna Sangeeta Talkies in Indore. After this the show at 9 am has been cancelled.  According to the information received, the first show of the first day has been canceled despite heavy deployment of police force.

Opposition to the film in UP too

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan’s new film ‘Pathan’ Activists of Hindu Mahasabha, a right-wing organization opposing the film, threw ink on the film’s posters and tore them in Agra on Tuesday. Sanjay Jat, leader of the Hindu Mahasabha, said that the organization would be able to protect the ‘Pathans’ at any cost. While the film will not be allowed to be screened, Bajrang Dal’s state co-coordinator Digdivijay Nath Tiwari said that he and his organization’s workers also oppose the film. Police said activists of a right-wing outfit today reached several cinema halls and threw ink on film posters and tore them. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and removed them from there after convincing them.

Ruckus on ‘Pathan’ controversy

Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ is also in controversies. In fact, many people objected to Deepika Padukone wearing an orange bikini in the film’s song ‘Besharam Rang’. Madhya Pradesh Minister Narottam Mishra had said that all these scenes can spoil the mentality of the people. Apart from this, the multiplex owners of Gujarat are afraid that this whole controversy may get out of hand. In such a situation, he appealed to the CM of Gujarat to provide tight security in cinema halls. He was afraid that people might oppose this film of Shah Rukh Khan outside the theatres.
