Hooda also reiterated the demand for an impartial inquiry into the allegations made by the wrestlers against the Wrestling Federation of India and its president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and said that Singh has unnecessarily tried to drag his and Deepender Hooda’s name into the whole matter. He said that he is consulting lawyers in this regard so that a defamation case can be filed against the WFI chief.
Haryana farmers agree to the demands of sugarcane farmers
The former CM further said that the players are the pride of our country and they should get justice. Apart from this, there should also be a fair investigation into the allegations against the Sports Minister of Haryana. For this it is necessary that the Sports Minister should resign from his post. The former CM said that the government should accept the demands of the sugarcane farmers. The farmers are demanding a rate of Rs 450 per quintal.
Hooda is with sarpanchs against e-tendering
The government should at least give the same rate to the farmers of Haryana as Punjab. During the Congress government, there was a record increase of 165 percent in the rate of sugarcane, whereas during the BJP rule, it was increased by only 17 percent. He further said that he stands with the sarpanchs in opposing e-tendering.
