From best team to best player, 18 ICC awards to be announced in next four days

Cricket Awards: The announcement of the ICC Awards for the year 2022 is starting from Monday. From January 23 to January 26, a total of 18 awards in different categories will be announced. There will be 5 team awards and 13 individual awards. ICC had announced the shortlist teams and players for these awards last month, on which there was an option of voting from ICC Voting Academy to cricket fans around the world. The voting period is now over. In such a situation, only the awards are yet to be announced.

7. ICC Women’s Associate Cricketer of the Year
8. ICC Men’s T20 International Cricketer of the Year
9. ICC Women’s T20 International Cricketer of the Year
10. ICC Emerging Male Cricketer of the Year
11. ICC Emerging Women’s Cricketer of the Year

26 January
12. ICC Umpire of the Year
13. ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year
14. ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year
15. ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year
16. Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy (ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year)
17. Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy (ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year)
18. ICC Spirit of Cricket Award

These are the two biggest awards
Everyone’s eyes will be on the ICC Male Cricketer of the Year Award. The winner of this award will be given the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy. Babar Azam, Ben Stokes, Sikandar Raza and Tim Southee have received nominations for this award. Similarly, the race for the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year is between Natalie Sheaver, Smriti Mandhana, Amelia Carr and Beth Mooney. The Rachael Hayhoe Flint Trophy is presented to the winner of this award.
