Congress attacks AAP-BJP over MCD mayor election, says ‘betrayal of public sentiments’

Congress Attacks On BJP-AAP Over MCD Mayor Election: Tuesday was fixed after a long tussle for the election of the Mayor of Delhi Municipal Corporation. However, MCD could not get the mayor even on Tuesday. This has proved that both the opportunistic parties fought the elections not to serve the public, but to grab the chair and power. He said that for this reason, after January 6, once again the mayor’s election could not be held on January 24.

Anil Chaudhary alleged that the people of Delhi are hurt by the fight, misbehavior and ruckus between the Aam Aadmi Party and BJP leaders for the chair. Anil Chowdhary said that without an elected body after the elections are held, the MCD is being run by the officers, which is the purpose of conducting the elections to the MCD to bring a new body under the control of the administration, the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party. The councilors of the party win elections by contesting against both the parties and their ideology does not match with both the parties. That’s why it is absolutely wrong that Congress is not participating in the mayoral election in support of BJP.
