Now the state government has given a gift to the sarpanches as well. Now the financial limit of sarpanches has been increased from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. Sarpanchs in gram panchayats will now have the right to spend up to Rs 25 lakh. Tell that before the elections, the government is strengthening the panchayats. The government itself has increased the budget of the Panchayat. The amount has been increased so that it can be spent on development and implementation of government schemes. Earlier, the honorarium of Sarpanchs has been increased. The Panchayat and Rural Development Department has issued an order to this effect. The order has been issued under the signature of Shobha Nikum, Under Secretary of the department.

In an order issued by the Madhya Pradesh Government Panchayat and Rural Development Department, it has been said that the financial limit of the officer for issuing administrative approval for new construction works to the Gram Panchayat has been increased from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. The rights and conditions of other competent officers mentioned in the said circular will remain the same. This order is being issued on the basis of the consent given by the Finance Department on January 19, 2023.
