CM Shivraj and Rajnath Singh distributed pattas to the poor, tasted food with the beneficiaries

MP News:  In Madhya Pradesh’s Singrauli district, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan distributed free leases of land to 57 poor families under the Mukhya Mantri Awasiya Bhu Adhikar Yojana and tasted food while sitting on the ground with the beneficiaries. Union Defense Minister Singh said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi the welfare of the poor is the commitment of our government. The welfare of the poor is our mantra and also our inspiration.

Every person has a right on a piece of land
Chief Minister Chouhan said that every person has a right on a piece of land to live. Residential leases will be given to every poor family of the state. The Chief Minister said that the poor families living on other’s land always had the fear of eviction. Similarly, the members of the poor families living in government land by building houses were increasing, but their houses were not. To get rid of all these problems, Chief Minister’s Residential Land Rights Scheme is being implemented in the state.

25 thousand families became owners of the land
Union Defense Minister Singh and Chief Minister Chouhan sat on the ground and distributed Bathua ka saag, gram bhaji, bajra roti, hathpoi roti, sesame seeds with the beneficiaries. K laddus, kodo rice and tasted local dishes. More than 25 thousand families, who were waiting for land to build houses for years, became the owners of the land after getting pattas from the Mukhyamantri Awasiya Yojana.

Beneficiary said – Government has made us the owner of the land
Meena Baiga, the beneficiary of Gadhara village said, "Now I will also get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and now my dream of building a house will be fulfilled. Babulal Panika said that the Chief Minister has made us the owner of the land by giving residential lease. Till now we were living by building a house on other’s land. There was always worry, now you are worry free." Kamla Saket and Lalchand Saket, who benefited from the scheme, said, "Our land dream has come true. We never thought even in our dreams that we would get land to live on. The government has taken care of us poor."
