Cheating in the name of drug supply in Delhi, police arrested the accused from Himachal Pradesh

Delhi News: Delhi Police has arrested a 26-year-old man from Himachal Pradesh for cheating people in the name of selling pharmaceutical products. It is alleged that he took Rs 94,000 from a person in Delhi in the name of supply of medicines, but did not supply the medicine to him. Now on his complaint, the police has arrested the accused. Police sources said on Sunday that the accused has been identified as Himanshu Gautam, a resident of Parwanoo in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The police arrested him and brought him to Delhi.

According to the police, a victim of fraud had said in his complaint that he had received a message and call in the name of a pharma company, claiming to supply medicines to hospitals. Along with this, the accused Himanshu persuaded the complainant to order the medicine. After this the complainant paid him Rs 94,000. However, he never received the consignment of the products after the payment was made. Hurt by this, he complained to the police, taking action on which the police arrested the accused.
