Patna: The hearing began in the Patna High Court on Tuesday on a petition related to madrassas receiving grants from the Bihar government through fake documents. Regarding this matter, the Patna High Court has ordered to investigate a total of 2459 madrassas in Bihar. The High Court has given this order to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department of Bihar. Also asked to submit the report by February 14. Now the next hearing in this matter will be held on February 14.
Ban on grant money to 609 madrassas
Patna High Court has banned grant money to 609 madrassas till the investigation is completed. Bihar’s Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Deepak Kumar, filed a counter-affidavit in the Patna High Court, stating that a three-member committee has been constituted to investigate all the 609 madrassas that have received government grants. Please tell that the investigation report was not sent to the department on time. After this, letters have been written to the DMs of all the districts. In this case the report has come only from Sitamarhi.

Forgery in 88 madrasas in Sitamarhi strong>
Mohd. Alauddin Bismil’s lawyer Rashid Izhar told the Patna High Court that Mohammad Tasnimur Rahman, Special Director of Secondary Education, has given the investigation report of Sitamarhi’s madrasas taking government grants. It has been said in this report that about 88 madrassas in the district have taken government grant on fake papers.
