Baba Ramdev’s warning on Ramcharitmanas controversy, said- ‘If needed…’

UP Politics: Controversial rhetoric on Ramcharitmanas (Ramcharitmanas Row) continues in many states including UP. Earlier Bihar Education Minister and RJD leader Chandra Shekhar had given a controversial statement. After this, KS Bhagwan, a retired professor and writer from Karnataka, made a controversial comment on Lord Rama. Then came the statement of Samajwadi Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya. Now yoga guru Baba Ramdev has warned on this controversy.

Baba Ramdev said on Ramcharitmanas controversy, "We will not tolerate anyone’s attack on Sanatan. We will live for divine grand India and if needed we will sacrifice our lives. This resolution should be taken today." This statement of Baba Ramdev has come in Haridwar. Earlier, he has hoisted the national flag on the 64th Republic Day in Haridwar.

What did SP leaders say?
Earlier, SP MLC Swami Prasad Maurya had said in his statement, "The real meaning of religion is the welfare of humanity and its strength. If due to any lines of Ramcharitmanas, a section of the society is insulted on the basis of caste, caste and class, then it is certainly not religion, but unrighteousness. Some castes such as Teli and Kumhar have been named in some lines of Ramcharitmanas. This is hurting the sentiments of lakhs of people belonging to these castes."
