NIA Probe Narwal Twin Blasts: A team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday (January 22) visited the spot after two bomb blasts in the Narwal industrial area of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday (January 21). Teams of Army and Security Impact Analysis (SIS) visited the site of the incident on Saturday and took stock. At the same time, the forensic team also collected samples from the spot for their investigation.
According to reports, after the blast, the area was cordoned off, which is still going on and security has also been increased. Meanwhile, vehicles are being checked as part of the search operation. Officials of the Government Medical College and Hospital have said that nine people injured in the blast are undergoing treatment and are being monitored. On Saturday (January 21), Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha had said that the accused would not be spared. Senior police officers had informed the Lieutenant Governor about the blast. The Lieutenant Governor had directed the officials to take immediate steps to identify those responsible for the blast and take action against them. Along with this, he had announced to provide assistance of fifty thousand rupees to the injured. He also said that the best treatment would be provided to the injured and all possible help would be provided to the families of the victims.
